1. Konohanasakuya-hime Shrine (Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture)
The goddess of beauty, Konohanasakuya-hime-no-Mikoto, is the enshrined deity here. The name, Konohana (cherry blossom), also means a woman as beautiful as, for example, cherry blossoms – the enshrined deity brings many happy blessings to women.
Though beauty is first on the list of the shrine's virtues, it is also known for tying relationships. The hanasachimori talismans available within the grounds are really popular among women wishing to get married.
In addition to beauty and finding love, Konohanasakuya-hime Shrine also offers other blessings such as ensuring safe childbirth. It's a power spot any woman should visit at least once in her lifetime!

2. Yang Kuei Fei no Sato (Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture)

Located in the Yuya district of Nagato city, the Mukatsuku peninsula has a somewhat surprising legend attached to it. It is said that this is the place where Yang Kuei Fei (the Japanese name for Yang Gui Fei, also known as Yang Kwei Fei), one of the world’s famed beauties, arrived ashore alive and then consequently died.
Yang Kuei Fei's grave is located at Nison-in Temple. It is said that if you pay a visit to her grave, you will have beautiful children, and there are even tales of other blessings including safe childbirth, fertility, and luck in marriage, as well as beauty.

3. Tarai Udon Noodles Make Love Come True (Awa City, Tokushima Prefecture)

Known as the Buddha of love, Aizen Myoo is enshrined at the central gate of Juraku-ji, temple no.7 of Shikoku’s 88-temple pilgrimage.
Named after Aizen Myoo, rensei tarai udon ('love fulfilling udon') is an udon noodle dish that is said to make love come true. What makes these noodles different from average udon noodles is that there is just one pink noodle within the dish, set in the shape of a heart.
Such a cute noodle dish! After eating, give the pink chopstick envelope as an offering at Juraku-ji temple. Apparently it will mark your wish for love to come true!

Leading to the area receiving more attention as a date spot, Futami Seaside Park has even been given certification as "the holy ground for lovers" from an NPO local community vitalization center!
At the observation deck, there are numerous ‘lovelocks’ left by lovebirds as a symbol of their eternal love.

6. Kiro-san Observation Park (Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture)
At some point in time, this place became the sacred land for lovers… They say that if a couple utters a prayer while facing the setting sun and locking a lock, their love is guaranteed to last forever. Just before the sun sets, as if weaving together the islands surrounding Shimanami Kaido, a road of light is born. It is said that the gods that grant wishes reside in the direction of the setting sun.
Seeing this kind of beautiful sunset, the hearts of couples are sure to be burning with love!!!

7. Kiezu-no-hi Sanctuary at Mt. Misen, Miyajima (Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture)
One of Japan's most scenic spots, the beautiful view at Miyajima of Aki (Aki is an old name for Hiroshima prefecture), waits at the top of a mountain. And at about 535 meters above sea level, that mountain is Mt. Misen, the highest peak of Miyajima. There are various interesting sights to see on the way to the observatory on the peak of Mt. Misen. Around 20-minutes into the climb, you’ll reach Kiezu-no-hi Sanctuary, which is also called Lovers' Sanctuary. The reason is because a flame still burns there that is said to have been used by Kobo Daishi over 1200 years ago for training.
I was surprised to hear that there was such a power spot for love even at the World Heritage site of Miyajima!!
